Julie Chen Moonves will host the popular reality show that has been a summer sensation Big Brother. The show returns to CBS on August 5 for the third season. Chen Moonves has been a part of The Talk since 2010, in which she served as both moderator and host. Then it was when she began writing that her passion for writing was revealed. Her outstanding talk show also won her an Emmy. The Talk examines contemporary events using the perspective of five female hostesses. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News' early morning news broadcast The Early Show for a decade. The anchor was for The Early Show as well as CBS Morning News. The CBS Television Network broadcasted a half-hour morning news program at the beginning of the day. Chen Moonves also covered the conflict in Iraq as well as other important stories, on The Early Show. After the terrorist attacks on 9/11 Chen Moonves uncovered the father of the hijackers and their leader for an exciting and exclusive interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news program which featured celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves has also worked with the CBS's New York City station WCBS, as a reporter, anchor as well as a anchor (1997-1999). Prior to becoming a part of CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been an anchor and reporter for WDTN TV Dayton. While completing her last academic year at the University, she served as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and was producer for ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). As a desk-assistant in the ABC News late night broadcast Nightline She worked alongside Ted Koppel. He remains among her top journalists. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel in the Columbia du-Pont-nominated primetime special, Anatomy of a Riot in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots.
